Hi, I'm Roxanne
My work is inspired by nature, imagination, and a love of witchcraft and magic. I’m drawn to pieces that feel a little whimsical, a little mystical, and full of character.
I love creating items that spark curiosity or make someone smile. Whether that’s a piece of jewellery or a gift for someone special, I want it to feel like something you’re happy to own or give.
Friends would probably describe me as creative, thoughtful, and a bit quirky.
What I love most about running my own business is the flexibility it gives me. It allows me to work around my family and my own health needs while still doing something I genuinely enjoy.
Something that might surprise people is just how much planning goes on behind the scenes!
Where it all began...
I’ve been crafting for around sixteen years, but Lunar Rose Crafts became my full-time work in 2019. It was actually my husband who gave me the push I needed, suggesting I turn what I loved into a proper business. Before that, I worked full time, but it didn’t fit around having small children or my son's disability. Running Lunar Rose Crafts has given me the flexibility to build something meaningful while still putting my family and health first. The name Lunar Rose Crafts comes from two things I love. The moon, and Rose, which is my middle name. It felt like the perfect fit.
What matters to me
When I’m creating, I care about how something feels just as much as how it looks. I want every piece to feel thoughtful and well made.
When someone opens a parcel from Lunar Rose Crafts, I hope they feel pleased, happy, and excited. Even small moments of joy matter.
As a small business owner, I value honesty, creativity, and doing things in a way that feels right rather than rushed.
How I Work
No two days are ever quite the same. A typical making day might involve designing new pieces, creating made-to-order items, packing orders, and getting ready for upcoming events.
What I enjoy most is the freedom to experiment and let ideas grow naturally. Some of my favourite pieces start as simple ideas and turn into something completely unexpected.
A lot of my work is handmade, and I also curate a small selection of items that fit naturally alongside my own designs. Everything is chosen because it feels right for Lunar Rose Crafts.
Where I Am Now
I’m really proud of how far Lunar Rose Crafts has come, especially knowing it grew from something I loved into a business that supports my family. Right now, I’m excited about continuing to grow, creating new pieces, and meeting customers in person at events throughout the year. There’s always something new in the works, and that’s part of the fun. Thank you for being here and supporting my small business. It really does mean more than you know.
