Beach Pebble Necklaces

I create these beach pebble necklaces using genuine stones that I collect along the Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex coastline. Each pebble forms naturally over decades as the sea shapes, smooths and polishes it. The waves carve quartz lines, reveal hidden colours and create unique markings that you will never find twice. Every stone carries its own story from the shoreline.

I choose each pebble by hand. I look for character, texture and natural beauty. Some stones hold quartz wish lines, some show striking patterns and others form rare shapes. Once I select the stones, I drill them myself with care and precision. I then set each one on a strong black waxed cord that feels comfortable and durable. The cord includes an extension chain, so you can adjust the length to suit your style.

These necklaces offer a simple and earthy look that suits everyday wear. Each stone has its own energy and presence. Basalt feels grounding. Quartz‑lined pebbles feel uplifting. Jasper brings warmth. Carnelian adds bold colour. Sardonyx offers striking banded patterns. You can choose the stone that speaks to you.

When you wear one of these necklaces, you carry a small piece of the coast with you. Each necklace holds a sense of place and memory, shaped by the sea and finished by hand in my Suffolk studio.
