Rare Sea Glass Necklaces
Rare English Sea Glass Pendants – Handpicked in Suffolk and Norfolk
The Beauty of the North Sea Every piece of sea glass in this collection tells a unique story of time and tide. The powerful North Sea currents spent decades—and sometimes centuries—tumbling these fragments against the flint and sand of the East Anglian coast. Consequently, each pendant features a perfectly frosted, matte finish that only nature can produce.
Treasures from the Past I hand-collect these genuine specimens from the historic beaches of Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk. Because this region has a rich maritime history, you are wearing a literal piece of the past. For instance, our deep Forest Greens often originate from 19th-century wine bottles. Meanwhile, the vibrant Cobalt Blues frequently come from vintage apothecary or poison bottles.
Rare Colours and Unique Finds Finding certain hues requires immense patience and a bit of luck. While green and white glass are common, Yellow and Orange sea glass are incredibly rare. In fact, collectors estimate that only one in several thousand pieces found will be yellow.
Craftsmanship and Quality I carefully select and hand-wrap each shard to highlight its natural, organic shape. Therefore, no two necklaces are ever identical. Whichever you choose, you will own a one-of-a-kind relic of the British shoreline.
